Place of event: Exposition by the fine artist José Rufino, from Paraíba state
An artistic exposition named "Faustus" by José Rufino, from Paraíba state. The work is composed of bones shaped in plaster and pieces of antique furniture. The fine artist woks with a way of installation in which parts are designed to "communicate" with the environment around, in order to encourage reflections on memories and the past of the Palace.
The exhibition is organized by the direction of Museums of the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage in Bahia, and will start 2010 schedule of exhibits that will offer a dialogue between works of art and the palace. "Faustus" will be shown until March 14th at the noble auditorium of the Palácio da Aclamação, located at Avenida Sete de Setembro, No. 1330 in Campo Grande. Free entrance.
