Place of event: Salvador seafront
The implementation of the "Projeto Verão da Paz 2010", sponsored by the city hall of Salvador, on the seafront. The project aims to foster peace, solidarity and coexistence among people through sports and music.
The scheduled events with music and sports will take place on the beach of Jardim de Allah and in other beaches from São Thomé de Paripe to Flamengo beach.
The events always happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the morning, between 8 and 9:30 am in the Jardim de Allah. It will be promoted lessons of Bahia swing and in the evening, from 6 pm to 7 pm, there will be stretching techniques. On Fridays and Saturdays, in the same it will be possible to watch concerts.
The "Projeto Verão da Paz 2010" is part of the campaigns "Salvador da Paz" (Salvador of Peace), which is promoted by the city hall since the end of 2009. The movement is getting stronger and aims to reduce violence and crime in Salvador.
