Each year, before the Carnival, the Olodum Auditions animate the people and are a preview of what it will be their presentation in the biggest party of the planet. The audience, made up of locals and tourists from Brazil and from around the world, dances with the old and new compositions of the group.
The Tereza Batista square in Pelourinho gets crowded, and each week Olodum has new famous guests. Starting this audition, the Banda Eva's singer, Saulo Fernandes has already participated, and it will also count on Luiza Possi, Ninha e Trem de Pouso, Daniela Mercury and Cláudia Leite, concluding the event on February 9th.
The Olodum's theme for Carnival 2010 is the union of Africa, Brazil and India and each Carnival's day one of those nations will be honored.
Olodum Auditions happen all Tuesdays and Sundays, from 7 pm.
