This is an art exhibition portraying the history of Brazilian art over the past 60 years. The exhibition is divided into 4 areas: Modernist, Photography, Contemporary and Rubem Valentim. The art works are spread along the museum and the curator of this exhibition is the MAM's director, Solange Farkas, who explains the work as a result of an intense research. The exhibition also involves restoration of works from MAM's collection.
The exhibition also has a parallel schedule including visits and activities for children and young people. There will be a course in which guest curators' comment on each area of the exhibition. The time to visit is from Tuesday to Sunday from 1 pm to 7 pm and on Saturday from 1 am to 9 pm. Entrance is free.
