Every Thursday, the contagious rhythm of the singer Jau and his band animate tourists and residents in Tereza Batista Square, in the historic centre. This is a preview of what the singer will present during Salvador's Carnival. The beginning of his career was in the group Olodum in 1989; in 2005 he formed in the Banda Afrodisíaco with the singer Pierre Onasis. In 2006 Jau left for a solo career.
The test takes place every Thursday until Carnival 2010.
