Spectacle “Siricotico, uma comédia do balacobaco”

The play tells the story of a theater company that aims the success. The trajectory of this company called "Os Tartufos", which lives in a province called Siricutico, is full of surprises. Lost on debts, the company lost three of their actors who leave the group in order to try the success on the Court. So the other who kept in the group try to debut a new play, asking the sponsorship of a dodgy businessman, who promises to support them in turn of his daughter, an aspiring actress, being the protagonist of the show. Then the story unfolds with many doses of humor in the backstage of a theatrical production.

The play counts on four actors: Lelo Filho, Jarbas Oliver, Nilson Rocha and Alexandre Moreira that represent 21 characters inspired by the classic comedies of Moliére, Goldoni and Pirandello. The play "Siricotico, uma comédia do balacobaco"is the seventh spectacle from the Cia Baiana. Among their other success plays there are "Capitães de Areia","Noviças Rebeldes" and "A Bofetada". It was directed by Fernanda Paquelet with text of Vinicius Morais and Lelo Filho. The play is presented from Friday to Sunday, at 8:00 pm.
