It is back on the stages spectacle of the Company "Os Bumburistas", the juvenile musical "Alice no sertão das maravilhas" (Alice in the wonder countryside). After had enchanted an audience of nearly 5 million children in 2009, the show returns on the stages of Bahia for a short season.
Adapted from the literary work of Lewis Carroll in the late XIX century, the direction of the show is by Andréa Elia.
Much humor and poetry are the mark of the spectacle, which portrays all the folkloric universe of the northeast countryside and presents characters such as Tatu Avexado, the Repentista Batista and the Cangaceira de Copas. Music, dance and Puppet Theater are some of the diverse cultural expressions of the northeast countryside culture, which works with the urban children's imagination.
The performances take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 4:00 pm.
