The Teatro Castro Alves Ballet (BTCA) presents its new show to the Bahia's audience, using the Dois de Julho square as stage. Before the Premiere, the company will conduct two workshops open to dancers from other companies.
The show "1 por 1 Pra Um" is signed by the choreographer Renata Melo Paulo and was specially produced to be shown in squares, streets and places that have no infrastructure to house this kind of presentation.
In its Premiere at Dois de Julho square (Campo Grande region), which is located in front of the Castro Alves Theatre, individual booths will be installed, which will receive one spectator at a time. According to the choreographer, it is supposed to be a "confessional", where the dancer and its single audience share a certain emotion that will be restricted for two people only. Renata Melo is also a theater director, actress and prominent choreographer, who has done outstanding performances in the '90s, among them, "Domésticas".
