The beaches of Morro de São Paulo don't have names; instead, they are numbered according to their order on the coast. They are known as First, Second, Third and Fourth and each beach has a unique style and appeal.

On the island, there is a 16th century village in which cars are not allowed - just to mention one aspect of the life there - providing the perfect chance to get away from urban life. Also, guests can visit a fort and many other cultural and historic attractions.

Itinerary

The tour itinerary is as follows:

Transfer by car or van from the hotel to the harbour.
Cross Todos os Santos Bay by ferry.
Take a bus from Itaparica Island to Valença.
Cross by boat to Morro de São Paulo (reach by 10.30 hours).
Walk through the old village of Morro de São Paulo.
Visit to the Second Beach (it is possible to visit the First, Third and Fourth Beach and have lunch).
Departure from Morro de São Paulo at 15.30 hours.
Arrival at the hotel in Salvador between 6.30 pm and 19.30 hours.

Cancellation policy

The rules for cancellation are as follows:

In case of cancellation made up to 48 hours before the tour, 90% of the amount will be refunded.
In case of cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour, the full amount will be forfeited.

Children Policy

The tour is free for children up to 4 years. Children between 5 and 9 years pay half price.

Participant Guidelines

We recommend you:

to wear light clothes and comfortable shoes
to wear hats/ caps and sunglasses
to use sun block
to not wear expensive jewelry while walking through the streets
to take bath towels and swimsuits
to bring your camera
to take low value bills during the trip (ex.: R$5, R$10, R$20) to facilitate the change and avoid dealing with large amount of money, in public
