The Hotel Solar do Carmo is a reformed XVIII century building located in Salvador's Historic Center. In the past, it was residence for traditional families and even for the samba singer "Gordurinha", a famous artist in the 40's. The hotel even kept some original parts of the building, as some parts of walls with antique bricks.
The decor counts with much wood in the furniture, as well as art works and handcrafts made by the owner Flávia Taiano, also a fine artist. All these details give to its ambiences a touch of charm.
