Convento do Carmo is the first historical and luxury hotel in Brazil. It was a convent build in the XVII century that once restored became an outstanding landmark and a luxury hotel at the same time.
All rooms kept the same division they had hundreds of years ago, which result in apartments with different sizes, but all with the same treatment regarding decoration and comfort. Thus, the hotel has several plans and rates, resulting in flexible options for all kind of guests. What's more, the hotel has a swimming pool, library, business centre and a fitness centre.
The location is great too, next to Pelourinho, the historic centre of Salvador, a place with plenty of tourist attractions and local festivities.
