Hotel Catharina Paraguaçu

Hotel Catharina Paraguaçu is set at Palacete dos Gonzaga, a 19th century colonial manor that when restored in 1993 became the charming Salvador hotel that it is today. In order to achieve the desired feel, renowned conceptual artists from Bahia took part in the hotel decoration, which is unique and rich in details. The internal patio displays mosaics created with selected tiles from the collection of the locally known ceramist Udo Knof. Additionally, several works by Mario Cravo - Salvador's premier artist - are displayed throughout the hotel.

The Hotel Catharina Paraguacu enjoys a privileged location, in the bohemian Rio Vermelho district, where guests can enjoy several peculiar restaurants and bars.
